Penn Hills football coach cancels lifting, tells players to shovel sidewalks instead

PENN HILLS — With heavy snow putting a damper on many plans, a Penn Hills high school football coach turned the situation into an opportunity to help out the community.

Coach Jon LeDonne announced on social media that lifting had been canceled as a result of the weather, but urged his players to “get out and shovel a neighbor’s sidewalk/driveway.”

LeDonne took over as the head coach at Penn Hills for the start of the 2017 season.
