PITTSBURGH — People who live in the Brookline section of Pittsburgh are cleaning up after a woman crashed into vehicles and damaged their property before slamming into a concrete wall.

It happened around 4 a.m. Wednesday on Bellaire Avenue, and the whole incident was captured on surveillance video from a nearby home.

Neighbors showed Channel 11 the damage, the driver hit the back of a car and knocked the front tire off another neighbor’s truck.

The crash woke up several people including Mike Wells, whose truck got damaged.

Wells said the street has a reputation for being extremely dangerous.

He told Channel 11 he’s less worried about the damage to his truck and more nervous about the reckless drivers on his street.

“This can be fixed but someone’s life that would affect multiple lives that cannot be fixed. So the whole street situation is what has me upset,” Wells said.

Wells also said he’s just thankful the crash didn’t happen when his kids were heading to the bus stop.

Pittsburgh police conducted a field sobriety test on the woman driving the car. We’re working to find out if charges will be filed.
