BALDWIN, Pa. — One person was taken to a hospital after a fire destroyed their home early Wednesday morning in Baldwin, officials said.
Firefighters were met by intense flames when they got to the home about 12:30 a.m. on Curry Hollow Road.
One person was inside when the fire started, officials said. They got out, but they were hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
Part of the front of the house collapsed as the fire burned.
A fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire, which is believed to have started in the basement.
