In its first meeting since the tragedy at Tree of Life Synagogue, Pittsburgh City Council members offered an emotional remembrance for the victims who lost their lives.
Council President Bruce Kraus started the meeting with a moment of silence before reading the names of the 11 victims.
Several council members also offered their thoughts and condolences.
“We're having a really hard time grieving with it,” said Councilman Corey O’Connor, whose district includes Squirrel Hill, as he fought back tears. “I will say, and I've said this throughout the weekend, this neighborhood is full of love and support.”
