Pittsburgh restaurants see huge turnout for Mother’s Day

PITTSBURGH — Restaurants across the area were maxed out as mothers and their families got together for the holiday, Sunday afternoon.

Several people that Channel 11 spoke with stated that they feel a sense of normalcy doing activities as simple as going out and sharing a meal with family.

Restaurant managers say May 2020 and May 2021 are like night and day.

“This one party that they haven’t seen their family for a year and a half so it is great to see everybody smiling everybody out again everybody feeling safe,” Mt. Lebanon Primanti’s manager Greg Dearolf said.
