STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — The Powerball jackpot has grown again, reaching $685 million after yet another drawing with no big winner.

There have been 40 consecutive drawings without a grand prize winner. People are taking notice, and they’re taking their chances to try to hit the jackpot in Monday night’s drawing.

WPXI is your official lottery station. You can watch the Powerball drawing at 11 p.m. during Channel 11 News.

When it comes to the Powerball, the odds of a single ticket winning are 1 in 292 million.

“It’s been crazy because you know the higher it gets, the more enthusiasm it gets. People are just craving just to try to get a piece of it,” David Rugh, who works at Blue Eagle Market in Stowe Township, said.

Blue Eagle Market has sold several winning lottery tickets over the years. Just a few months ago, a scratch-off ticket worth $250,000 was sold at the store, which opened in 1983.
