PITTSBURGH — Plans for floating cinema nights in Pittsburgh this fall could be in jeopardy.

The promoter has yet to apply for the required permits, according to our news partners at TribLIVE

The floating cinema was advertised as a way for people to safely watch movies from boats on the river.

It's scheduled to be in Pittsburgh Sept. 16 - 20, but the U.S. Coast Guard's Pittsburgh unit hasn't been contacted for permits.
