State police have had the scene secured, as the coroner's office and the forensic anthropology team from Mercyhurst University work to recover Owens’ body.

State police say they found blood from both Teets and Owens on a knife, and in her SUV.
Teets allegedly confessed to a friend at one point, saying Owens was gone and he just lost it, but investigators didn't have a case because they didn't have a body.

Officials hope to have Owens' remains recovered by Friday night.
