GREENSBURG, Pa. — Police arrested a man in Greensburg on drug distribution and other charges after a traffic stop Thursday.
According to Channel 11 News’ exchange partner Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, police charged Gregg L. Snyder, 53, with possession of crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and criminal use of a communication device.
Snyder was a passenger in a car that police stopped at the corner of Southwest Avenue and Steck Street.
The officer saw Snyder fidgeting inside the vehicle as he approached it, the Tribune-Review reported. The officer instructed Snyder to exit the car, but he refused to remove his hands from his pockets.

After officers called a K-9 unit to search the vehicle, Snyder gave police permission to search his cellphone, the Tribune-Review reported.
The officer found several messages related to drug trafficking, according to the Tribune Review.
The newspaper said that according to an affidavit filed by police, Snyder denied trafficking drugs, only saying he “will get anybody whatever they want."
According to the Tribune-Review, police recovered two rocks of crack cocaine when they searched Snyder and the vehicle. Police also confiscated a digital scale and two crack pipes.
Snyder was arraigned and placed in jail under a $20,000 bail.
