HOMESTEAD, Pa. — Police have charged two men from Illinois in the armed robbery of the Sprint store in the Waterfront in Homestead last month.
Allegheny County police have issued warrants for Jerry Bledson, 22, of Calumet Park and David Kendrick, 24, of Kankakee.
On September 29, three employees inside the store were zip-tied while two gunmen shouted orders and took dozens of phones, police said.
Investigators said they identified the suspects by surveillance video of their vehicle at Waterfront at the time of the robbery.
Detectives traveled to Illinois and, with the help of Kankakee police uncovered enough evidence to file charges, police said.
