Police identify suspect who slashed man in face, arm in Butler

BUTLER, Pa. — The man who police say slashed a man in the arm and face in Butler last week turned himself in to police Wednesday afternoon.

The victim said he was attacked by a sharp-edged weapon on April 28 while exchanging property on South Main Street with Danielle Cornell Frazier, 29, of Butler.

Officers recovered video of the incident that showed Frazier slicing the victim several times in the arm and face, police said.

The victim was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment, where he reported the assault to police.

Officers issued an arrest warrant for Frazier for aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person.

Frazier was released on his own recognizance.
