Court documents indicate Keenan Tolliver is now in custody.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 21.

Pittsburgh police are looking for a driver accused of fleeing from two officers and nearly running them over Thursday night.

Channel 11 confirmed that Keenan Tolliver is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

The 24-year-old was allegedly behind the wheel of a Dodge Avenger on Auburn Street in Larimer when an officer "... approached, he observed three males laying down in the vehicle ..." according to police paperwork.

When officers announced "... ‘Pittsburgh police’ ... Tolliver looked up and immediately put the vehicle in reverse ... pulling out to the left and straight at a detective ..." according to the paperwork.

"I just heard sirens and I was watching TV with my son, I didn't know if it was the TV," said neighbor Kevin Thomas.

Police chased Tolliver through the neighborhood, but he ultimately got away after driving through this field on Lincoln Way.

He's also wanted for aggravated assault for almost hitting the officer with his car.

Police say they were able to identify Tolliver and get an arrest warrant because they've dealt with him in the past.

People on Auburn Street say they haven't seen any trouble since the summer, when two men were gunned down at 10:30 in the morning while people were sitting on their porches.

"It wasn't good at first, early in the morning, two deaths,” Thomas said.
