CALIFORNIA, Pa. — Police weren't even expecting to find drugs when they first went to a California home – all they were doing was looking for the man who lived there.

Duncan Evans was supposed to face a judge last week in another case. When he didn't show up, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Officers didn't find Evans when they checked his Park Street house but they grew to suspect it was home to a drug operation.

TRENDING NOW:

They say they found 24 growing marijuana plants, as well as 19 dead and drying plants they believe were being prepared for sale.

Police say that's not all –  they found stamp bags of suspected heroin being sold under the names Notorious, Stay High, Ride or Die and Lake of the Dead.

Evans now has a new court date, and is in the Washington County Jail. His girlfriend, Amanda Rossi, is also facing charges.
