PITTSBURGH — Around a hundred protesters shut down Fifth Avenue Saturday in Shadyside.

The group of people wearing all red, playing instruments and dancing started blocking the intersection of Beechwood Boulevard and Fifth Avenue near Mellon Park around 3 p.m.

Rain didn’t stop the protesters, who put up a tent in the middle of the street.
