PITTSBURGH — Rats are roaming several neighborhoods in Pittsburgh.
Channel 11 told you last week about people in Brookline complaining. Now, we’ve uncovered a similar problem in Carrick.
“Walk up the city steps, rats running around, all in the bushes up there, across the street,” said Stephanie Nadaline.
The problem is so bad, Shahan said she’s concerned about letting her daughter play outside.
“Now it’s just overridden with rats,” said Michelle Shahan.
“I’ve seen them in her playhouse,” she said. “They are using that as shelter now.”
Neighbors said they think someone may be feeding them.
Carrick isn’t the only neighborhood with a rat problem. People in Polish Hill also tell Channel 11 they’re dealing with a rodent problem.
