BUTLER, Pa. — Rep. Mike Kelly has announced that he will be running for reelection in Pennsylvania’s 16th district, which includes all of Erie, Crawford, Mercer and Lawrence counties, and part of Butler County.
He is running for his seventh term.
Kelly made the announcement on his reelection Facebook page, saying, “this is a very critical time for our country.”
“We are seeing daily, unprecedented attacks on our God-given freedoms, on our Constitutional rights, and on our ability to raise and provide for our families,” he said.
He cited the Biden administration’s “disastrous liberal policies” as his reason for running.
“It must be stopped. That’s why I’m running for re-election. To continue to fight for you, our great nation, and our future,” he said.
