ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Work to make long-term, permanent repairs after a landslide in Ross Township has been scheduled.
Dirt, rocks and debris have been scattered on a hillside along Reis Run Road for the last six months amid frequent rainfall that contributed to the landslide.
Repair work is set to begin Monday, officials told Channel 11 News on Thursday.
Construction equipment has already been brought in, and saturated soil will be removed in the coming days. Beams and concrete will then be used to support the hillside.
The road will remain open during repairs, which are tentatively expected to be completed by mid-November.
