Rescue crews called after car gets stuck in high water in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Rescue crews were called after a car became stuck in high water in Pittsburgh.

Crews were called to Union Avenue near the border of the city’s Bellevue neighborhood and Ross Township Sunday evening. High water from a nearby creek was flowing onto the roadway.

A sedan drove into the water and became stuck.

At least one person had to be helped out of the vehicle and to safety.
