BETHEL PARK, Pa. — A haunted house in South Park has announced a reward for the people that broke into the business, if they turn themselves in.
Hundred Acres Manor was broken into on August 1.
According to their Facebook page, multiple items were stolen or damaged, including computer equipment and security devices.
The Allegheny County Crime Lab and police were able to recover numerous sets of fingerprints. Investigators believe more than one person was involved.

If someone who was involved with the break-in and theft decides to come forward, Hundred Acres Manor will not press charges against that person and will give them a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of other people involved. That's according to the Hundred Acres Manor Facebook page.
Ted Sobek, the owner of Hundred Acres Manor, told Channel 11 he thinks it was an inside job, and he is offering an incentive for one of the thieves to come forward.
Sobek said the first person to come forward – who did not play a major role in the robbery – and turn in any others who were involved will get lenient treatment.
“We’ll be lenient on them about pressing charges and not give them a bad rap,” Sobek said.
Sobek said people have been reaching out, offering to replace the equipment that was stolen.
The haunted house will still be opening September 8 as originally planned.
The post says, in part, “We are deeply saddened by the actions that have occurred. As many of you know we are a 501c3 non-profit and some of the items that were taken will need to be replaced before we can open this season. We appreciate any and all help with this matter.”
