IMPERIAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Don't think that Amazon is sitting still now after announcing a final agreement recently and celebrating a groundbreaking for a new one-million-square-foot distribution center at the Chapman-Westport business park in Imperial Township last month.

As construction crews push forward on the biggest new distribution facility built in the region in years, real estate industry sources indicate that Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN) is scouting the region for new facilities in the range of 100,000 square feet to help to meet its last mile delivery demands.
