Behre is holding a meeting Monday with the focus on how to make the university a more welcoming and safe space for all of its students.

"You put 10,000 people together and someone is going to do something that makes him comfortable it’s just a matter of when," university president William Behre said.

"I think what we need to do is help our students the tools to engage in thoughtful Conversation if you look at the defacing of the poster it wasn’t just simply I’m going to say something nasty and racial it was a poor attempt at engaging in dialogue," he said.

Police are still trying to identify who defaced the poster.
