Terrelle Pryor’s girlfriend bonds out of jail in attempted homicide case

PITTSBURGH — The girlfriend of Terrelle Pryor who is charged with trying to kill him is out of jail.

During a bond hearing Tuesday, a judge ruled that Shalaya Briston could be placed on electronic monitoring at her mother’s house in Munhall.

Briston has been in the Allegheny County Jail since Nov. 30 incident when she allegedly stabbed Pryor during a fight at their Heinz Lofts apartment, then drove him to the hospital for treatment.

Briston was charged with attempted homicide. Pryor faces charges of simple assault.

Briston’s preliminary hearing is on Thursday.
