Three injured in shooting in South Side

PITTSBURGH — Three people were injured in a shooting in the South Side early Sunday morning.

Pittsburgh police said the incident occurred in the 1700 block of East Carson Street around 2:35 a.m.

When officers arrived they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the leg. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

A short time later, two other men victims arrived separately at the hospital by private means. One suffered gunshot wounds to the leg, the other had a graze wound to the leg. Both arrived in stable condition.

East Carson Street between South 14th and South 18th streets was blocked off for several hours as police processed evidence at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
