Union workers from several unions marched through downtown Pittsburgh Monday as the Supreme Court hears a case that could impact unions.
Thousands of union workers in Pittsburgh joined others across the country in coordinated rallies and marches that will take place on the same day the U.S. Supreme Court hears arguments in a case that could affect union funding, Janus vs. AFSCME.
Those who marched today are fearful that If the court rules against the union, it could deplete their union accounts.

The case deals with whether unions should be able to bill employees who don't want to pay into a union.
"As union workers, we can actually pay for our cars, pay for our homes and actually support our community businesses. But once they cut and slash our wages and our benefits, then we're only going to go backwards," Pam Rall Johnston said.
There were a few stops along the way for speeches from officials and leaders.
A reverend with the interfaith impact network was also here today. She says if the unions break down, it will have a bigger impact on the community and the work she can do.
