VA Pittsburgh accepting eligible veterans as walk-ins at 2 COVID-19 vaccination clinics

PITTSBURGH — VA Pittsburgh announced Saturday morning that they can inoculate eligible veterans who walk in at two COVID-19 vaccine clinics only until the supply of doses runs out.

Eligible veterans can stop by the following locations to get the first dose of the Moderna vaccine:

  • George C. Marshall AMVETS Post 103, 23 Buttermilk Lane, Hopwood, PA
  • American Legion Post 641, 271 State Street, Baden, PA

Clinics are open until 4 p.m. but doses may run out earlier. Veterans are asked to not bring anyone into the building with you unless you need help with mobility or other issues. You must wear a mask and practice physical distancing.

To receive a vaccine on these dates, veterans must:

  • be 65 years or older.
  • be eligible for and enrolled in VA health care.
  • receive health care at a VA Pittsburgh facility (including outpatient clinics).
  • have NOT had any vaccination in the past 14 days.

Veterans are asked to not bring anyone into the building with you unless you need help with mobility or other issues. You must wear a mask and practice physical distancing.
