PITTSBURGH — The funeral plans for a Pittsburgh civil rights leader are changing after a car crashed into the funeral home Monday afternoon.
The viewing for former Pittsburgh NAACP President Constance Parker, who died Thursday at 74-years-old, was scheduled to begin Tuesday at Spriggs-Watson Funeral Home in Homewood.
It was just before 2 p.m. when police tell us the driver of a Jeep ran a red light, clipped a car, and plowed into an office at the funeral home on North Lange Avenue.
The woman who works inside, Tracy Almond, had stepped out before the car crashed.

"My knees buckled when I saw what happened," Almond said. "I don't have a desk anymore, there's no chair."
Police told Channel 11 neither driver was injured.
Because of the accident, Parker's viewing is being moved to the Petra International Ministries Church in Penn Hills – from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
