Virtual celebration planned to honor Mister Rogers’ 93rd birthday to feature big-name artists

PITTSBURGH — A virtual celebration has been planned for March 20, the day Mister Rogers would have turned 93.

According to our partners at TribLive.com, the celebration will feature singers and songwriters from across the country. It will be livestreamed on YouTube and Facebook.

The planned event will feature Kellie Pickler, Vanessa Williams, Lee Greenwood, The Cowsills, Jaci Velasquez, Jim Brickman, Jon Secada, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr., Micky Dolenz, Sandi Patty and host Tom Bergeron.

The celebration is dedicated to Joanne Rogers, Mister Rogers’ wife, who died earlier this year.
