WASHINGTON, Pa. — Washington City Police have been looking for Maceo Saunders for two months. He’s wanted for attempted murder. Officers said he shot a 17-year-old girl Thursday night at about 8:30, but she was not the intended target.
Investigators said Saunders was driving past another vehicle last night at the intersection of Ridge Avenue and Shannon in Washington. He reportedly shot five times into another vehicle, hitting the teen girl. Police said she was with another relative.
Saunders has been wanted by Washington police since March 10 when officers said he allegedly shot a man in the stomach. That incident occurred two blocks away from Thursday night’s incident.
If you know where Saunders is located, you’re asked to call 911.
Police are urging Saunders to turn himself in.
