PITTSBURGH — With the deadline for submissions to Amazon to be home to its second headquarters upon us, the city of Pittsburgh has released a heartwarming video touting its suitability.

“Let’s go east across the country to Pittsburgh, where the Monongahela and the Allegheny River join,” the video starts out.

From there, it’s all about the nostalgia, hardworking people, revitalization and everything else that makes the “city that built America” great. The video even references the Pittsburgh chair -- and, of course, Mister Rogers, as we look for a new neighbor in Amazon.

The website features Pittsburgh's strengths along with a timeline of when technology companies arrived here.
