MONACA, Pa. — A water main break left the majority of downtown Monaca without service through Wednesday morning, officials said.
The break was reported between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday on 14th Street at Beaver Avenue.
“Water was just flowing like a river over there, so I called the emergency line and told them,” Robert Mizenko, owner of Monaca Deli, said.
Monaca Deli was among the business impacted by the break. A sign on the door said, “Closed, no water.”
Crews completed repairs just before noon.
