Water main break leads to early dismissal for Baldwin high school, middle school students

PITTSBURGH — A water main break in Baldwin Borough on Monday morning led to the early dismissal of Baldwin high school and middle school students.

The break happened on Clairton Boulevard near Grace Street. One southbound lane of Clairton Boulevard is closed in the area.

The Baldwin-Whitehall School District said high school and middle school students were dismissed early because of the break. According to a message on the district’s website, the water company said the school building will be without water for at least the remainder of Monday’s school day.
