PITTSBURGH — A water main break along Fifth Avenue in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood caused a sidewalk to start buckling early Wednesday morning.

The break was reported about 4 a.m. outside UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, between Atwood Street and Oakland Avenue.

Water flowed over the sidewalk and down Fifth Avenue.

PWSA officials said the break happened in a 6-inch water main, and no customers are without service as a result of it.

Crews from the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority were called to the scene.
