Whiskey lotteries: Pennsylvanians being given chance to get hands on rare bottles

HARRISBURG, Pa. — If you like whiskey, the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board is giving you a chance to get your hands on a rare bottle.

Five lotteries, one of which will include multiple drawings, will be held for the 425 bottles of limited-release whiskeys. They’ll give people the opportunity to buy the whiskey.

Pennsylvania residents and licensees have until 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, to opt into one or more of the lotteries (CLICK HERE).

There will be a Buffalo Trace 2021 Antique Collection lottery, as well as four bourbon lotteries.

Winners will be selected the week of Nov. 29, and all winning and non-winning entries will be notified by the PLCB in the following weeks.
