Winning $1 million scratch-off ticket sold at local store

NATRONA HEIGHTS, Pa. — Someone’s bank account just got a lot larger after winning $1 million on a scratch-off ticket bought in Allegheny County.

The winning Mega Millionaire scratch-off ticket was sold at Community Supermarket on Pacific Avenue in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania Lottery officials said. The store will get a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Mega Millionaire is a $20 game that offers five top prizes of $1 million.

Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website. Winners should sign the back of their ticket, and file a claim with the closest lottery office.
