Woman arrested for DUI after rollover crash in Armstrong County

KISKI TWP., Pa. — Police in Kiskiminetas Township charged a woman with driving under the influence after a rollover crash Saturday night.

The incident occurred along Sugar Hollow Road around 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Kiski Township police said.

Police said Jamie Fulton, 39, of Apollo, was charged with DUI, driving on a DUI suspended license, accidents involving unattended property and other traffic violations.

Fulton freed herself from the vehicle and suffered minor injuries, police said.

Fulton was driving a Kia Sorento along Sugar Hollow Road at a high speed and failed to negotiate a turn in the road, police said. The vehicle hit an embankment and rolled over, damaging several mailboxes and a nearby sidewalk and yard.

Police said they found Fulton to be intoxicated, with her blood alcohol content at 0.206%, nearly three times the legal limit. She also had a DUI suspended license at the time of the accident, along with no insurance and a suspended vehicle registration.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

The Kiski Township Fire Department, North Apollo Fire Department and Oklahoma-Vandergrift Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
