PITTSBURGH — A 23-year-old woman has been arrested in the March stabbing death of her live-in boyfriend, police said.
Urmila Gurung is charged with homicide after investigators said she called 911 and confessed to stabbing her boyfriend, 26-year-old Bhim Rai, at an apartment on Brownsville Road.
Gurung speaks the Nepali language and said through an interpreter, “Ask the police to come and arrest me. I tried to stab him with a knife. I don’t know which part of the body I hit,” according to a criminal complaint.

Police said that while Rai was bleeding to death, Gurung went to a bar.
“I went to a bar after a fight. I thought he was sleeping, but he was bleeding. He may have died,” she told a 911 dispatcher, the complaint said.
When police went to the apartment, they found Gurung covered in blood, investigators said.
