HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A woman died when she was struck by a train Wednesday night in Harrison Township.

Witnesses told police Marsha Jo Graham, 40, was walking along the tracks when the train approached her from behind, hitting her just before 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Mile Lock Lane and Sixth Avenue.

Investigators determined the train activated all its warning devices in an effort to get Graham’s attention.

Graham did not move in time. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
