PITTSBURGH — If you’re a fan of shredding fresh powder each winter, you’ll pay more at most places around the region this year.
Blue Knob All Seasons Resort raised the weekend lift ticket rates by $5. Hidden Valley increased lift tickets by several dollars for both children and adults. Laurel Mountain will cost $2 extra for adult lift tickets and $1 extra for kids on weekends. Customers will pay $10 more at Hidden Valley, Laurel Mountain and Seven Springs if they don’t pay in advance for lift tickets, equipment rentals or lessons.
Blue Knob All Seasons Resort

- Billed as the highest skiable mountain in Pennsylvania
- Adults: Weekends $75, M-F $45
- Juniors (12 and under) and seniors (65+): Weekends $70, M-F $40
- Kids 5 and under: Free with paying adult
- Monday: Military/1st Responder Day $38 lift ticket with valid ID
- Tuesday: College Day $38 lift tickets with valid college student ID

- 26 slopes and trails, 2 terrain parks on 110 skiable acres
- Adults: Friday and Saturday $76; Sunday $75; M-Th $47

- Children 5 and under: Free with paying adult
- Seniors 70-79: half price
- Seniors 80+: free but need lift ticket
Laurel Mountain
- Located in Laurel Mountain State Park, it has the highest vertical drop in Pennsylvania at 761 feet
- Features the Lower Wildcat Slope, the steepest in the state averaging near 60% slope
- Closed on Mondays
- Adults: Weekend $61; T-Th $44
- Children 6-11: Weekend $49; T-Th $34
- Kids 5 and under: ski free with paying adult
- Adults 70-79: half price off the regular rate
- Seniors 80+: free with ticket
Seven Springs
- 33 slopes and trails, 7 Terrain Parks and 10 lifts to get you up the mountain
- Adults: Friday-Sunday $95; M-Th $74
- Kids 6-11: Friday-Sunday $73; M-Th $58
- Children 5 and under: ski free with paying adult
- Adults 80+: ski free but must obtain ticket at Guest Services
- Adults 70-79: Discount off regular rate; varies by day of the week
