SHANKSVILLE, Pa. — The “Towers of Light” ceremony was held at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville on Thursday night.
The memorial started glowing just hours before the world pauses to remember the 19th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
The tribute honors the 40 passengers and crew members who died on Sept. 11 while trying to regain control of their hijacked flight.
