FRANKLIN PARK, Pa. — An early-morning accident forced the closure of several lanes of Interstate 79 in Allegheny County.
A tractor-trailer struck a bridge abutment shortly before 1 a.m. Friday.
The driver died. He was identified as 46-year-old Gregory Baker of Monroeville.
Crews were able to clear the accident shortly before 6 a.m.
One northbound lane and one southbound lane were closed near the Rochester Road overpass in Franklin Park.
