MILTON, Vt. — A group of police officers saved a baby deer born on the side of the road after its mother was hit by a car.
According to the Milton Police Department in Vermont, two other fawns died, and the mother died as well.
Officer Bosworth and Sgt. Locke performed a modified version on CPR on the newborn deer and saved the animal. It is now recovering at the Milton Veterinary Hospital where according to police, the fawn is doing well.
