ST. LOUIS — A Missouri mother may have a house full of her own kids, but Champale Anderson is making sure every child in her neighborhood has a full belly.

Anderson has been feeding the kids in her neighborhood for five years, KTVI reported.

Kids knock on the door of her St. Louis home before and after school to get something to eat.

"I noticed the kids they are always hungry. They get off the bus and they take off running and they never know what I will have in the bag. I switch it up and have special treats for my special babies," Anderson told KTVI.

The bag is usually filled with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, fruit, cookies and juice.

She makes about 100 snack bags for the kids each day, KTVI reported.

Anderson even has a sign outside her home that reads, "Champ TearDrop's free snack, lunch."
