Some on the ship took to social media to say "chairs, tables, glass, people went flying to one side of the ship," the newspaper reported.

Several people were hurt, but they were treated by the ship's medical staff. The ship did not sustain any damage due to the wind, company officials said.

The ship was at the start of a seven-night trip out of New York City, on the way to the first stop at Port Canaveral, the Sun Sentinel reported.
