DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a 22-year-old South Florida man, who police said had a loaded rifle underneath the driver's steering wheel, police said.
Jacobi Baker was pulled over at 1:40 a.m. Sunday after allegedly running a stop sign in Delray Beach, WPTV reported.
Police said the weapon was loaded, according to WPTV.
When an officer from the Delray Beach Police Department approached the silver Chevrolet, he said he noticed a black and tan American tactical rifle on the floorboard near Baker's right leg, WPEC reported.
Baker was arrested and charged with carrying an unlicensed firearm and carrying a prohibited weapon, the television station reported.
