Authorities were called to the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn about 10:45 p.m., the television station reported. Police originally believed the party was a music video shoot, but later confirmed the gathering was connected to gambling, WNBC reported.

The gathering violated Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s “New York State on Pause” orders issued March 22, which prohibited large gatherings or parties, the television station reported.
