ATTALLA, Ala. — Police are searching for a man they said grabbed a young child out of their mother’s shopping cart.
The Attalla Police Department said in a news release that an older man picked the small child up out of the cart and placed it into his own. The mother immediately grabbed the child.
Police said they are working with several state agencies to find the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Attalla Police Department.
Police said they reviewed hours of surveillance camera footage and have identified the suspect as a driver working for a trucking company based out of Illinois. Officers released two photos of the suspect inside a store.
