Austin Roberts, 17, suffered injuries on March 31, WOWT-TV reported. That was the night before his prom, so his date, Hannah Carlyle, also missed the big event.

However, the Child and Family Development team at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha put together a special prom for Roberts Carlyle, according to KCCI-TV.

The couple was provided with a room filled with decorations, a photo booth and even a dance floor, the television station reported.

Snacks were provided, the hospital wrote in a Facebook post. That included Roberts’ favorite, Cosmic brownies.

Roberts and Carlyle were also crowned as the prom’s king and queen, according to WOWT.

It may have not been an ideal situation, but the hospital posted photographs that showed the couple having a memorable night.
