NAPLES, Fla. — Golfers at a Florida country club encountered an unusually large interloper on the course Wednesday and were more than happy to allow him to play through.
Wednesday’s walkabout marked the second time in as many weeks that an enormous alligator visited a Florida golf course, the Sun Sentinel reported.
A 10-foot alligator, who strolled across the grounds of the Valencia Golf & Country Club in Naples, captivated onlookers for several minutes and has become a literal overnight social media sensation.
Matt Devitt, a meteorologist at WINK-TV in Southwest Florida, shared the photo on his Twitter account on Thursday.
A video captured in October showed another 10-foot gator enjoying Duran Golf Club in Melbourne.
