Two men arrested in Verona burglary found with drugs, guns

VERONA, Pa. — Two men were arrested in connection with a December burglary in Verona were found with 120 stamp bags of heroin and fentanyl, according to police.

Allegheny County Police said detectives and narcotics officers raided three addresses in Verona Friday, finding the drugs and a stolen gun.

Walter Rigowski, 48, James Caldwell, 26, and Zachary Rogowski, 20, were arrested during the raids. Police said Caldwell and Zachary Rogowski were wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred on Dec. 17 in the 500 block of East Railroad Avenue in Verona.

Among the items stolen during that burglary were two handguns. One of them was recovered Friday.

All three men were taken to the Allegheny County Jail.
