Uber and Sears are expanding their rider rewards program into an additional 23 markets in the US.
Originally offered in only New York and Chicago,
[ the program allows Uber riders who link their account to Sears' "Shop Your Way" loyalty plan ]
to receive up to two dollars in loyalty points for every trip. Shop Your Way members who sign up to ride with Uber for the first time can receive their first trip free up to 15 dollars.
Drivers who sign up to drive with Uber through Shop Your Way can get up to one-thousand dollars in points.
In some cities, existing drivers can also earn points by enrolling in the program.
Uber drivers also receive discounts on routine maintenance and repairs at Sears Auto Centers.
